The primary goal of the course is to ensure students have a good understanding of data analysis with Power BI. Included in this three-day course is:

Creating visualizations
Power BI Service
Power BI Mobile App
IT Professionals who currently work in SQL Server report creating, are most likely to find interest in this course to learn alternative methods of presenting data.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that prior to attending this course, students have:

Excellent knowledge of relational databases and reporting.
Some basic knowledge of data warehouse schema topology (including star and snowflake schemas).
Some exposure to basic programming constructs (such as looping and branching).
An awareness of key business priorities such as revenue, profitability, and financial accounting is desirable.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications – particularly Excel.
